Elvaco, Ecopilot and NODA to form a joint unit in Bemsiq

Elvaco, Ecopilot and NODA to form a joint unit in Bemsiq, creating a holistic international supplier of intelligent energy services.

The companies will work together in a new services division within Elvaco, thereby combining Elvaco’s offering in metering-as-a-service with Ecopilot’s offering in energy efficiency for buildings and NODA’s Smart Heat Grid service. The first step is to join the R&D teams together, but additional activities are also planned to integrate other aspects of the three businesses.

The merger will increase our competitiveness as a service provider, but also as an employer. Together, the companies can reach scale advantages and better leverage the skills and competencies within the group. From the customer/partner perspective, the joint unit will cover the full chain including data collection, analytics and optimization, addressing both individual buildings and the grid level.

No changes will be done to the legal structure at this stage. The offices in Kungsbacka, Karlshamn, Malmö, Borås and Göteborg will remain and build on the established brands Elvaco, Ecopilot and NODA. David Vonasek, currently CEO of Elvaco, will manage the joint unit.
