Information regarding global semiconductor shortage

The Covid-19 pandemic is creating a global shortage of semiconductors and computer chips. With this information we would like to give an update of the situation and how the global shortage of semiconductor and chips affects our customers.

At Elvaco we are constantly working closely with our suppliers and production sites to meet our customer expectations with regards to price, quality and lead time. The last years it has been long lead times on semiconductors, but the situation with Covid-19 has made it dramatically worse. 

We can assure you that we are doing our outmost to secure the supply of our products, but we see that there will be longer lead times due to this situation. 

To mitigate this situation as far as possible, please place your orders in a timely manner. We also please ask you to go through the needs you see in the next 3-6 months. By placing orders for services and products as soon as possible, you will help us do a better job and improve the chances of maintaining our delivery capacity. 

In the near future, we will monitor the situation closely and keep you updated on any changes.
