Elvaco won tender for Vattenfall Värme

Elvaco won the tender of communication modules with NB-IoT for district heating/cooling, water and steam meters in Sweden for Vattenfall Värme.

Vattenfall Värme currently has about 16,000 meters in the categories district heating/cooling, water and steam meters of various brands and models which today communicate with an older communication technology that has now reached the end of its life span. The purpose of the procurement was to find a supplier who can deliver the latest technology to all brands and models during the years 2021-2023.

Elvaco has extensive experience of similar assignments and has already begun to roll out communication modules with NB-IoT in large numbers to other customers. These experiences together with good contacts with many meter manufacturers make Elvaco a perfect partner when it comes to the latest generation of communication modules.
