M-Bus Splitter – separate meter readings made easy 

The M-Bus Splitter is a functional accessory that optimises the metering infrastructure in your building. It allows two parties in the infrastructure to set up a connection with up to four meters and thereby access their meter data.

This allows the meters to be integrated into two independent M-Bus network structures, allowing meter readings to be taken separately. For example, using this solution, a supplier can collect the measurements on the M-Bus for billing purposes while the end customer also collects them for energy data management purposes.

M-Bus Splitter – how it works at a glance

When installed between one and multiple meters and two parties, the M-Bus Splitter receives all the meter data at the input point and makes it available at the M-Bus output. The M-Bus Splitter is easy to install, and therefore avoids the need for any time-consuming and costly retrofitting of an existing metering system.

Low maintenance and high compatibility – the advantages of the M-Bus Splitter

The M-Bus Splitter can connect up to four meters to two M-Bus level converters or central units and then take readings from them separately. This means that the M-Bus Splitter does not need to be maintained and does not impair the functionality of the infrastructure.
